Schedule: 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM

About the Role:

The Senior Maintenance Mechanic role at our Advanced Technology Center in St. Louis, MO is a challenging opportunity for an individual interested inproviding skilled general maintenance duties to include maintenance for machines, building and property. Leads and trains others on specific maintenance skills.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Troubleshoot, repair and install complex machinery using air, hydraulics, motors, bearings, etc.
  • Ability to perform complex assembly of mechanical equipment including bearing clearances and tight tolerance fits
  • Read and update mechanical, electrical and pneumatic schematics
  • Electrical troubleshooting, repair and installation of complex motor controls, linear actuators and servo drives, fuses, and circuit breakers, etc.
  • Perform diagnostics and problem solving for PLC component related issues and troubleshoot failures to ensure systems are operating as expected
  • Diagnose and repair automated production equipment and components, including robotics
  • Fabricate production equipment, fixtures, support frames, benches, shelving, etc.
  • Schedule and perform preventative maintenance, follow procedures
  • Repair and installation of pipes and plumbing that carry gas, water, air or misc. hydraulic oils
  • Repair and installation of electrical wiring in facility for high & low voltage (includes computer & phone lines)
  • Repair and improve facility buildings grounds and equipment

Qualifications:

Must Have:

  • High School Diploma/GED Equivalent and 3-5 years of maintenance experience

Additional Success Factors:

  • Preferred Two-year industrial maintenance degree or Technical Certificate
  • High voltage electrical knowledge
  • Forklift or scissor lift experience
