Your Key Responsibilities

  • Execute electrical troubleshooting, repair and installation of motor controls, fuses and circuit breakers, etc.
  • Trouble shoot, repair and install complex machinery using air, hydraulics, motors, bearings, etc.
  • Fabricate production equipment, fixtures, support frames, benches, shelving, etc. Welding and fabrication skills preferred.
  • Schedule and perform detailed preventative maintenance on a variety of equipment including SMT placement machines, wave solders, selective solder systems, etc., Follow manufacture recommended procedures to successfully keep our equipment in world class condition.
  • Responsible for repair and installation of pipes and plumbing that carry gas, water, vacuum, air or misc. hydraulic oils, HVAC duct work.
  • Responsible for repair and installation of electrical wiring in facility for low voltage (includes computer & phone lines)
  • Repair, and improve facility buildings grounds and equipment. Train and learn fire alarm response panel and roles for emergency support of facility in emergencies or bad weather.
  • Refurbish production equipment, detailed cleaning, painting, replace worn parts, calibrate to make machines in a "like new condition"
  • Utilize carpentry skills, repair and installation of sheetrock, removal and installation of walls, rooms, offices, etc. Make custom crates and packaging for shipping.
  • Utilize forklift and aerial lifting devices for use throughout the facility.

Required Qualifications

  • High-school graduate/GED preferred
  • Preferred Two-year degree or Technical Certificate or related experience (3-5 years)
  • Leadership training

Desired Qualifications

  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
