Responsibilities

The physician will take admissions from the ED, direct admissions from outside providers and consults from specialists. This is a day-time PRN only position. Nights are covered by nocturnists. NPs assist with admissions and discharges, allowing you time to round. Large team dedicated to discharges assists with placement. Flexible call schedule limits admission times and gets you home early on most days. Friendly staff and great support from administration.

This is a hospital employed job (W2).

    12 hours shifts
  • 7am-7pm
  • Work with Advanced Practice Providers
  • Open ICU
  • No Procedures or Intubations
  • Run Rapid Response Codes
  • No Minimum Number of Shifts per Year
  • Medical Malpractice Coverage including Tail

Qualifications

Job Requirements

  • 3-5 years' work experience
  • Graduate of a University/Program with a doctorate Degree of Medicine or Osteopathic
  • Current Medical License - MD or DO
  • Unrestricted Current DEA Registration
  • Current Board of Pharmacy Controlled Substance Certificate of Registration
