About the Role

The operator role in St. Louis, MO is a challenging opportunity for an individual interested in producing a high-quality product that will be used to enrich the lives of others. This role is capable of contributing to all phases of the production process using autonomy, mastery and purpose, and works under direct supervision on standardized duties and tasks using established procedures or written instructions. The ideal candidate will be able to work individually as well as in teams.

Hours: 6:45am to 3:15pm (with some overtime on Saturdays)

Pay: $18.46/ hour

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Follow work instructions
  • Set-up, operate, and troubleshoot equipment/tools/machinery, including complex equipment to prepare and assemble product
  • Assure product meets all quality standards
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Meet production metrics (takt time)
  • Check and fill out necessary reports, manufacturing orders, scrap, rejects and production times

Required Qualifications

  • Basic math skills
  • Read and comprehend measurements
  • Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods
  • Ability to work individually and in teams
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to lift a maximum of 30 pounds

Desired Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED certificate or equivalent
  • Up to three years of related work experience is preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge with basic computer systems
  • Willingness to work overtime when needed
  • Willingness to be a cross-functional team member
  • Desire to learn new skills and follow directions
  • Hand dexterity is desired
