Role: 3D Geospatial Analyst (Elevation/Imagery) - Multiple Positions

Work Environment:

    Location: NCW Campus - St. Louis, MO
  • Travel up to 10% of the time

Responsibilities

The 3D Geospatial Analyst provides direct support to a national security customer, including, but not limited to terrain elevation data production, precise point mensuration, and other photogrammetric support. The role will increase Geomatics accuray by performing quality control of contractor, commercial, and co-produced Digital Elevation Model (DEM) data, and by expanding automated and semi-automated quality control capabilities and production training materials.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geography, Cartography, or other related field; or miliary equivalent. Additional experience can be substituted for education
  • 0-12 years of relevant experience supporting geospatial data production, cartography, or other related experience
  • Proficiency in ArcGIS and/or ArcPro, and SOCET SET and/or SOCETGXP or other 3D GIS and photogrammetric software
  • Understanding of elevation data formats including TanDEM-X, High Resolution Terrain Elevation (HRTE), Defense Gridded Elevation Data (DGED), Digital Terrain Elevation Data (DTED) or Shuttle Radar Topography Mission (SRTM)
  • Understanding of imagery formats including Controlled Imagery Base (CIB), Adjusted Mapping Support Data (AMSD), and Digital Point Positioning Database (DPPDB)
  • Familiarity with elevation and imagery services and software including Active Earthscape, NCL, GEOPS, and GDAT
  • Understanding and ability to create and edit SQL queries
  • Proficiency with Python scripting is preferred
  • Successful GEOINT Professional Certification (GPC) preferred
  • Candidates may be required to demonstrate stereo vision capabilities

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Active TS/SCI with ability to obtain and maintain a Counter-Intelligence (CI) Polygraph.

Competencies & Skills:

  • Ability to apply structured processes to enrich or manage data.
  • Ability to apply GEOINT standards and quality.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform a variety of data exploitation techniques.
  • Comfortable working with a team to achieve project completion.
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Proficiency using MS Office Suite
