The Manager - Product Intelligence & Strategy is a critical leadership role and is instrumental in integrating competitive, market, and regulatory insights into the healthcare product strategy. This role is pivotal in ensuring our products not only meet market demands but also comply with Office of Personnel Management (OPM) requirements and other regulatory standards.Lead comprehensive market and competitive intelligence research to inform strategic product decisions.
Utilize actuarial and analytical insights for product ideation, ensuring products meet market demands and regulatory requirements.
Spearhead the development of product roadmaps, evaluating the impact of product updates and changes, and ensuring coherence with strategic objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional leaders, providing actionable insights.
Oversee strategic insight initiatives, fostering an environment of innovation and strategic foresight within the product management team.
Monitor product updates and changes, understanding their upstream and downstream impacts.
Requirements: Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in business, Healthcare Administration, Actuarial Science, or related field.
5+ years of experience in product management within a healthcare benefits company.
Strong leadership skills and experience mentoring junior team members.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex product ecosystems.
Strong understanding of competitive analysis, market intelligence, and actuarial principles
Experience with OPM healthcare products and requirements.
Excellent communication, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of inspiring confidence and collaboration among senior executives and cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree in a relevant field.
Experience in high-level strategic planning and execution within a healthcare benefits organization.
Proven history of developing and mentoring high-performing teams in strategic insights and product management.
Experience in Health benefits industry or a related field.
Familiarity with product management methodologies and frameworks.
