We are looking for a Lead HR Business Analyst to join the People Operations team at Clarivate. About You - experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field of study such as Economics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent relevant work experience
  • 7+ years of experience in professional business analytics or similar

It would be great if you also had...

  • Proficiency in modern business intelligence (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) preferred
  • Ability to work with and protect highly sensitive data in a confidential manner adhering to data privacy policies at all times
  • Good organizational and time management skills, juggling conflicting priorities
  • High degree of comfort with technology and reporting; advanced computer skills with high proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in data preparation and querying methods preferred
  • Knowledge of Workday reporting and dashboarding solutions preferred (Report writer, designer, Prism analytics)
  • Broad understanding of HR and People Data
  • Basic understanding of data science and advanced analytics

What will you be doing in this role?

  • Deliver data-driven insights to support HR goals and enable data driven decision making; interacts very closely with internal customers to ascertain requirements/needs
  • Develop, deploy, maintain, and/or support interactive, self-service reporting and data visualization solutions
  • Make decisions regarding the optimal medium (ie, Workday, TBD Agile BI tool, Excel, etc) to deliver insights to customers
  • Perform and deliver ad-hoc analyses as needed
  • Collaborate Senior Data role to optimize systems used to deliver people insights
  • Trains & advises on insights solution suite and the use and availability of people data
  • Gathers, extracts, manipulates, analyzes and models data using analytical tools. Documents and articulates the steps taken in an analysis.
  • Responsible for generating monthly metrics (i.e. turnover, retention, headcount, FTEs among others)
  • Acts as expert on HR data in order to advise internal customers on data needs.
  • Provide reports to internal customers as needed
  • Assists senior role in M&A data mapping
  • Conducts regular data audits in HR Systems to ensure data integrity
  • Looks for ways to automate data needs for regular requests
  • Acts as first point of contact for regular HR data needs

Hours of Work

  • This is a hybrid role working 2-3 days a week in the Kansas City office
  • Full time, permanent role working regular business hours
