FORVIS seeks experienced professionals who can leverage technical architecture expertise to define strategic systems solutions for clients. The architect will map solutions and define the technical architecture and designs using D365 and ancillary products to achieve a solution that meets the client's business needs.Seeking candidates to work directly with project and client leadership to facilitate the definition and implementation of the technical architecture to enable the business.

How you will contribute:

• Architecting the technical solution and associated designs to meet the defined solution direction for the client
• Performing the necessary consultation with clients in defining and implementing technical solutions based on D365
• Defining projected costs for Dynamics solutions and projects
• Working separately or as a part of a project team based on clients' needs
• Leading rapport-building with clients through effective communication and ongoing sessions/meetings
• Coordinating/completing tasks and solutions based on client and project needs
• Learning FORVIS implementation methodology and related deliverables
• Assisting the Project Manager as required during planning and assessment activities

Minimum Requirements:

• BS or higher degree in Computer Science or equivalent & 6+ years of development experience in relevant technologies (C#, X++, Azure Services, Azure SQL)
• 6 years or more of applicable experience
• Experience within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain / Dynamics AX
• Solid experience with Webservices and REST APIs
• Strong software engineering skills across all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Ability to understand unfamiliar code bases, debug client and service side applications
• Experience with technical architecture and expertise in developing technical design specifications from functional design specifications
• Understanding technical design activities as a part of an implementation methodology

Preferred Requirements:

• Proficiency with key productivity and system tools, including but not limited to Office 365
• Microsoft Certifications associated with architecture, design, or functional capabilities
• Full understanding of X++ language and Extension based development
• Experience with leveraging Power Platform and Azure Services to integrate with and enhance D365
• Experience with configuring Azure DevOps build and release pipelines
• Understanding of Microsoft Lifecycle Services and its capabilities to support implementation projects
