ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Stimulate business and develop quality players through personal interaction.
  • Ensure all Table Games team members are providing optimum service to all guests.
  • Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude toward all external and internal guests at all times.
  • Ensure technical proficiency of all Table Games team members through guidance and effective training programs.
  • Observe and analyze the integrity of play and activity of guests and team members.
  • Ensure adherence to all applicable laws, gaming regulations, and procedures.
  • Direct, support, and supervise all Table Games team members.
  • Oversee the operation of the assigned shift in the absence of a Pit Manager.
  • Assist in the hiring and development of team members while ensuring an adequate level of labor is used to perform to the required level of service.
  • Understand, administer, and review performance appraisals, set performance expectations, and provide coaching and operational support for Table Games team members.
  • Mediate and solve problems for team members and guests.
  • Establish and maintain effective lines of communication at all times throughout the department.
  • Identify operational and organizational opportunities and work with the Table Games management team to recommend, develop, and implement sound solutions with peer group.
  • Build rapport and coordinate daily activities with support departments.
  • Supervise all activities and team members in Table Games pit.
  • Analyze guests' play to monitor for cheating scams, advantage play, card counters, and unusual or suspicious variations in play.
  • Monitor staffing levels to ensure budgetary compliance.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality relative to financial information, operating systems, company policies and procedures, marketing plans, and team member and guest information.
  • Have complete knowledge of all casino events and promotional activities.
  • Ensure the safety and security of all guests and team members.
  • Comply with all policies and procedures established by Bally's Kansas City and department management.
  • Other duties as assigned or any reasonable request from any member of management.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, and OTHER CHARACTERISTICS:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a business-related field, at least 3 years of supervisory experience in the Table Games field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Gaming industry experience is required.
  • Must obtain Missouri Gaming Commission occupational license and TiPS certification.
  • Appropriate use of office equipment, including personal computer, telephone with voice mail system, fax machine, and copy machine.
  • Must be able to work any necessary hours, including late nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Read, write, and understand complex instructions and reports.
  • Communicate appropriately with all casino guests, casino departments, and fellow team members.
  • Understand and adhere to all Missouri Gaming Commission regulations and any other applicable federal, state, and/or local regulations.
  • Accurately perform all assigned job duties in a high-volume, fast-paced environment under frequent time pressures.

  • WORK ENVIRONMENT: while performing the duties of this job, the team member is exposed to variable temperatures, smoke, and bright flashing lights. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
