Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team Ellis Fischel Cancer Center. The Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting our research and partnership initiatives by managing project planning, execution, and monitoring from inception to completion. This position requires a blend of strong project management skills, effective communication abilities, and a deep commitment to our mission.


Responsibilities:
* Coordinate project activities, resources, equipment, and information.
* Liaise with cross-functional teams to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
* Prepare detailed project plans, including timelines and milestones, to ensure timely project delivery.
* Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to meet deadlines and goals.
* Serve as the point of contact for project team members and communicate project status to all participants.
* Work closely with researchers, clinicians, and administrative staff to ensure projects align with organizational goals.
* Manage project documentation and ensure all necessary materials are current, properly filed, and stored.
* Assist in the development of project proposals, budgets, and reports.
* Organize and attend project meetings, take detailed minutes, and ensure action items are completed.
* Facilitate the resolution of any issues that arise during the project lifecycle.

Shift

Monday - Friday
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, project management, or related field.
* Proven work experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role, preferably in a healthcare or research setting.
* Strong understanding of project management techniques and methods.
* Excellent time management and communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
* Familiarity with medical/scientific terminology and the cancer research field is highly desirable.
* Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, CAPM) is a plus.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $17.96 - $26.00 hourly
Grade: GGS - 008
