Evoke is seeking an IT Portfolio Management Specialist to join our team!

Responsibilities:

  • Provide IT capital planning, reporting and portfolio management analysis
  • Support the management of the organization's IT portfolio, which sets priorities that supports the IT infrastructure and enables their strategic mission
  • Support the development, preparation, submission, and justification of the IT budget exhibits - including annual and monthly updates to the Federal IT Dashboard
  • Review annual OMB IT Capital Planning Guidance to ensure compliance with applicable statutes, regulations and policy
  • Provide guidance and related capital planning business processes to the IT Portfolio Management community of practice
  • Interface directly with Federal clients, and project and program managers across the organization regarding the current portfolio of IT projects and operations, to provide improvement recommendations
  • Support governance of the IT portfolio - supporting the monthly evaluation ratings, Investment Review Board (IRB) sessions, PortfolioStat, TechStat and/or FedStat processes
  • Design data collection and data management strategies to minimize administrative burden, ensuring data integrity and quality
  • Conduct portfolio monitoring analyses to enable data-driven decisions
  • Design and implement analytics to inform IT portfolio management and enhance decision-making processes
  • Develop tailored portfolio management artifacts, templates, and analytical tools to monitor IT portfolio status and associated processes.

Professional Experience and Skills:

  • Experience across all phases of IT Portfolio Management
  • Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Excel to collect, compile, and analyze data
  • Experience with financial data including statistical analysis and other analytic methods
  • Strong analytical skills, superior problem-solving skills, and demonstrated critical thinking
  • Ability to develop briefings using Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex statistical data to executive leadership
  • Ability to work independently amongst a geographically dispersed team
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of the government IT budgeting and financial reporting process
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI is a MAJOR plus

Education and Years of Experience:

  • Fifteen (15) years' relevant work experience; a post-graduate degree (in a related field) may substitute for six years of experience
  • BA/BS in related field (minimum)

Security Clearance

  • Applicants selected must be eligible to work in the United States, be subject to a government security investigation, and meet eligibility requirements for access to protected information
