Pennington Seed is searching for an experienced Return Center Manager in our Greenfield, Missouri location. This position requires qualified candidates to be safety conscious and able to perform required functions in a productive manner, working with tight schedules and deadlines.

MEASURES OF SUCCESS

  • Assist in approving and authorizing timesheets for accuracy and helping monitor overtime for all employees.
  • Help maintain employee schedules to ensure each shift is covered for that weeks workload and working efficiently.
  • Conduct monthly safety meetings.
  • Conduct Toolbox Meetings.
  • Maintain daily and weekly totals of inbound pallets and bulk bags as well as where they come from.
  • Audit return inbound product from vendors.
  • Request STO and delivery of division loads.

IDEAL CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES

  • 3+ years warehouse supervisor experience - preferred
  • Bachelors Degree - preferred
  • SAP experience preferred or willingness to learn
  • Proficient in Microsoft, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point
  • Effective communication skills; written, oral and formal presentation
  • Sense of urgency and ability to drive projects to completion
  • Must have teamwork attitude and collaborative skills
  • Manual labor required in position (i.e., lifting 50 lb. bags materials)
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Full-time position in a warehouse distribution facility.
