As a Nurse Practitioner, you will carry out physical and psychological exams, provide basic healthcare treatments, write prescriptions, and order medical/psychological tests. Additionally, you will review patient conditions, determine treatment plans, and facilitate Medication Services within Substance Use Disorder programs. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct physical or psychological exams and record patient histories.
  • Provide basic healthcare treatments and write prescriptions.
  • Review patient conditions and determine appropriate treatment plans.
  • Facilitate Medication Services within Substance Use Disorder programs.
  • Oversee team care coordination activities, including communication with outside providers.

Education and/or Experience Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and accredited Nurse Practitioner Program.
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Missouri.
  • Licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) by the State of Missouri.
  • Two years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred.

Required License/Certification:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Missouri
  • Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license in the State of Missouri
  • Federal DEA license

Additional Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a community health center or similar environment preferred.
  • Current Missouri RN license in good standing.
  • Federal DEA license required.
  • Willingness to explore/obtain DATA 2000 Waiver.
