Job Summary:
As a Management Trainee, you will participate in training across assigned departments over a defined period time to assimilate department level knowledge of essential functions, as deemed necessary by department leadership. The goal is to provide companywide operations knowledge and perspective that incorporates a broader profile for future company leadership when coupled with flexible and innovative leaders.
Essential Functions:
- Plan, facilitate and maintain training schedules, reporting and department transitions in coordination with Department Managers.
- Attain practical knowledge of department functions, workflows, machine operations, and personnel duties and responsibilities.
- Attain practical knowledge of department reporting in reporting procedures, data collection, report output/distribution and reports utilization.
- Study, document, control and improve manufacturing processes and procedures to achieve maximum productivity, minimum cost and scheduling requirements.
- Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documents, etc. related to department job functions and/or scheduled training.
- Familiarize and differentiate company product lines and subsequent formats, schedules, workflow, etc.
- Work across company departments and divisions to accomplish company goals.
- Comply with all safety and work rules and regulations.
- Complete other duties as assigned.

- Ability to remain organized and self-directed in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to interface with a variety of individuals or groups on a frequent basis.
- Ability to work with limited direction and supervision, while demonstrating good judgment and strict confidence.
- Ability to learn computer applications as necessary for the position.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including strong customer service skills.
- Must communicate appropriate information accurately and clearly as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors degree
- U.S. work authorization
- Pass a standard pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Willingness to train on-site at assigned Walsworth location for duration of program (approx. 12 months)
