ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude toward all external and internal guests at all times.
  • Assist in maintaining a spotless environment by disposing of any items left behind by guests in addition to cleaning ashtrays and preparing trash for removal from the pit.
  • Constructively train and supervise dealers to ensure compliance with casino procedures, rules and regulations.
  • Prepare and administer disciplinary action as necessary.
  • Participate in interviewing, hiring, developing, counseling, and terminating department staff.
  • Write and deliver thorough performance reviews for team members.
  • Develop personnel while ensuring an adequate level of labor is used to perform to the required level of service.
  • Analyze guests' play to monitor for cheating scams, advantage play, card counters, and unusual or suspicious variations in play.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality relative to financial information, company policies and procedures, and team member and guest information.
  • Monitor game activity at all times.
  • Manage administration of table fills and credits, player ratings, and rundowns.
  • Control gaming cards and equipment.
  • Resolve issues, disputes, and correct errors as needed.
  • Ensure that winning bets are accurately and promptly paid and correct any dealer errors as required.
  • Have complete knowledge of all Bally's KC events and promotional activities.
  • Ensure the safety and security of guests and team members.
  • Comply with all policies and procedures established by Bally's KC and departmental management.
  • Other duties as assigned or any reasonable request from any member of management.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, and OTHER CHARACTERISTICS:

  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
  • Technical school education or previous casino experience in dealing table games is preferred.
  • Proficiency in all games offered is required.
  • Experience as a Dealer at Bally's KC with a minimum overall rating of Meets Expectations on the most recent performance review and no performance documentation for the last 90 days is strongly preferred.
  • Must be able to obtain a Missouri Gaming Commission Level II gaming license.
  • Maintain TiPS certification.
  • Must be able to work any necessary hours, including late nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
  • Read, write, and understand simple instructions in English.
  • Communicate appropriately with all departments and fellow team members.
  • Good eye-hand coordination.
  • Knowledge of specified games and Missouri Gaming Commission regulations.
  • Able to add monies and chips in order to properly payout winning bets.
  • Knowledge of theft and cheating techniques.
  • Good guest service and communication skills.
  • Accurately perform all assigned job duties in a high-volume, fast-paced environment under frequent time pressures.

  • PHYSICAL DEMANDS: while performing the duties of this job, the team member is required to walk and stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear; and lift up to 20 pounds. The team member must also frequently bend and reach and occasionally crouch or stoop. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The team member is also required to make ongoing repetitive motions of the arms and hands.
  • WORK ENVIRONMENT: while performing the duties of this job, the team member is constantly exposed to variable temperatures, smoke, and bright flashing lights. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
Qualifications

Experience
1 years: Dual Rate Supervisor or above experience (required)
1 years: Table games dealing experience (required)
