University Health Physicians (UHP) is the physician group practice for the University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Medicine (UMKC) in conjunction with its major teaching facility. UMKC supports several residencies and many of our physicians have teaching responsibilities for residents and medical students. UHP is also the primary physician group for Truman Medical Centers/University Health in Kansas City, MO. known as "Kansas City's Essential Hospital," it is the safety net healthcare system for Jackson County/Kansas City, MO. A 547-bed, not-for-profit health system, TMC/UH delivers the highest-quality medical care for our patients, with compassion, empathy, and unparalleled dedication to service. RESPONSIBILITIES
The Department of Community and Family Medicine at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine, and University Health Physicians seek a full-time board-certified family physician to join our academic program located in a rapidly growing area of Kansas City.We have several clinics in communities across eastern Jackson County.
We practice and teach all components of Family Medicine and have faculty with diverse work experience. This faculty position provides an opportunity to become a member of a dynamic, expanding community and academic program and allows for faculty development. Academic appointment and salary commensurate with background.
